Langtang is a narrow Valley that lies south of Tibet border, situated between main Himalayan range to the northern and a slightly lower range of snow-capped peaks to the south. This high and isolated region is habituated by people of Tibetan origin, who practice Buddhism. Trek to Langtang Valley offers the opportunity to visit glaciers at the head of the Valley and views of mountains like Ganesh Himal, Mt. Langtang Lirung, Mt. Dorje Lakpa & Shisapangma (Mountain in Tibet).
The 2015 devastating earthquake has damaged this area very badly, therefore it was not possible to do trek in this region for quite a long time but slowly the wound is getting recovering and day by day the number of tourists is increasing.
